Joint-Stock Company Promsintez was established in February 1997 as an enterprise for the production of explosives and is the successor of the Samara Sergievskiy Plant of Explosives, founded in 1911 by the Military Council under the Ministry of War of the Russian Empire (Order No. 1 of 14.09.1911).
Currently, it is one of the main manufacturers of industrial explosives in Russia and the CIS.
Promsintez, JSC has a modern structure of production and management organization, highly professional personnel, and high-performance technical equipment. Technological processes for the production of industrial explosives are automated, and especially dangerous operations are carried out without the presence of technological personnel.
The company is doing a lot of work to expand the product range. In 1998, the production of nitrobenzene, which is the basis for the manufacture of aniline, dyes, and polymers, was launched.
In 2003, the company mastered the production of patronized emulsion explosives.
The production activities of Promsintez, JSC are carried out according to the documentation developed and agreed by the industry design and technological institutes.
Work is underway to certify the quality management system according to international standards.
