During transportation, transportation by rail and road is allowed in accordance with the "Rules of cargo transportation", according to the classification of GOST 19433-88, the emulsifier is not classified, but is transported as non-dangerous cargo under the conditions of cargo transportation "oil-oil emulsions".
The PES emulsifier is packed in steel barrels with a capacity of 200 liters according to GOST 13950-91, GOST 6274-79 or containers with a volume of 1000 liters according to TS 2997-001-74578453-2006, or steel tankers.
The guaranteed shelf life of the PES emulsifier is 1 year from the date of manufacture.
The emulsifier PES has a weak irritating effect on the skin, mucous membranes.
The approximate (calculated) maximum permissible concentration (MPC) of emulsifier vapors in the air of the working area is 3 mg/m3.
The maximum permissible concentration of industrial oil (mist), which is part of the PES emulsifier according to GOST 20799-88, is - 5 mg/m3.
According to the MPC value, the PES emulsifier belongs according to the classification given in GOST 12.1.007-76 to hazard class 3 (a moderately dangerous substance).
When working with the PES emulsifier, personal protective equipment should be used against the ingress of the PES emulsifier or its vapors on the skin, mucous membranes, respiratory and digestive organs in accordance with current regulations, as well as personal hygiene measures.
When catching fire, all fire extinguishing agents are used to extinguish the PES emulsifier, except water, including: foam and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, sand, foam, chemical or air-mechanical foams.
